- Aconitum napelles: Acute anxiety with agonizing terrors and fear of death. Frequent palpitations. The patient is inconsolable and restless.
- Argentum nitricum: Anticipatory anxiety with diarrhea. Hurried, irritable, nervous and lacking in self-confidence.
- Arsenicum album: Intense anxiety with great restlessness. Fears something terrible will happen.
- Gelsemium sempervirens: Anxiety due to fright, fear and emotions.
- Ignatia amara: Anxiety due to any grief. Long sighing.
- Lycopodium clavatum: Anxiety with lack of self-confidence. The patient is unable to sleep due to the happenings during the day. Anxiety about forthcoming events.
- Calcarea carbonica: The patient thinks that he has done something wrong. He feels uneasy and anxious with palpitations. Desperate of life. Fears insanity.
- Pulsatilla nigricans: Anxiety after bad news or an emotional upset. The patient is weepy, touchy and needs company.
- Anacardium orientale: Anxiety which vanishes on eating.
- Bryonia alba: Anxiety about business matters.
- Causticum: Anxiety worse in the evening due to apprehension.
- Borax: Anxiety leading to nausea with fear of downward motion.
