- Rauvolfia serpentina: One of the chemicals in Indian snakeroot is the same as a prescription drug called reserpine. Reserpine is used to treat mild to moderate hypertension.
- Glonoinum: Throbbing of the heart. High blood pressure during menopause or due to suppression of menses. Headache is always present.
- Lycopodium clavatum: Palpitations at night, cannot lie on the left side.
- Kalmia latifolia: Fluttering of heart with anxiety. Palpitations. Tachycardia with pain.
- Viscum album: Systolic is high and diastolic is low.
- Kali phosphoricum: Mental fatigue. Irritable, restless, anxious, from mental exertion with high blood pressure.
- Allium sativum: Reduces blood pressure within 30 to 45 minutes.
- Kali iodatum: Reduces blood pressure.
- Valeriana officinalis: Hypertension in nervous individuals.
