- Alumina: Colic pain in abdomen.
- Belladonna: Colicky pain comes and goes quickly. Transverse colon protrudes like a pad during abdominal colic.
- Bryonia Alba: Food lies like stone in the abdomen. Stools hard, constipated. Desire to lie quietly.
- Calcarea carbonica: Gall-stone colic, liver region painful. Distention with hardness.
- Carbo Vegetabilis: Relieves bloating and gas in the stomach, with belching.
- Colocynthis: Agonizing, violent, cutting, cramping, griping, tearing, clutching, or radiating pain comes in waves. Intestines feel squeezed between stones. Sensation as of being encircled with an iron band. Colic with cramps in calves. Pains are accompanied by nausea vomiting and diuresis.
- Cinchona officinalis: Gall stone colic periodic.
- Ipecacuanha: Pain clutching, squeezing, griping as from hand, each finger sharply pressing into abdomen. Worse from motion. Flatulence, cutting colic about umbilicus, extending towards uterus.
- Magnesium phosphoricum: Pains are throbbing and burning in character and are relieved by pressure and warmth. The patient passes wind constantly during the pain.
- Pulsatilla nigricans: Pain in stomach an hour after eating.
- Dioscorea Villosa: stomach cramps and pain from gallstones.
